We're excited to announce RootNote — our platform designed to help artists save time and make money — is officially up and running in its public beta. WTF is a "public beta?"
It means the platform is officially functioning in its early stages and is ready for you to make a profile. Over the next several months, we'll be adding new features, gathering user feedback, and "iterating" (fancy tech talk for "making better").
What Can I Do Right Now?
Excellent question! Right now, you can use RootNote to track your distribution income (for a select list of distributors), your PRO income, your social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok), your email list (Mailchimp), your SoundExchange income, your YouTube subscribers, your Spotify and Apple Music streaming numbers, and more.
You can also use the first iterations of our tools — a "To-Do List" tool and a "Manual Reporting" tool (for tracking other money you make as a creative that isn't pulled in from distribution and PROs).
Start by making your profile and integrating all of the available accounts you have. Some of the platforms will get added to your profile immediately, while some could take up to 48 hours to load in.

What's The Plan?
For the next few months, we'll be adding more integrations and tools as well as using your feedback to make necessary tweaks. We ultimately want RootNote to be the first place you go to when you want to track and manage your music career.
